VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA: Chapter 966

To the right of the Wall of Honor, you will notice a marble bench. This bench was donated by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 966 to the cemetery to memorialize all those who have served
On Veterans Day 2015, a 10-year-old boy named Preston Sharp challenged the nation and embarked on a campaign to place flags and flowers on veteran graves across the country after noticing the lack of honor shown for veterans at a local cemetery in his town. What started as a small idea has turned into a movement that has spanned across all 50 states with flags and flowers placed on over a million veteran graves and counting.
